The Neurologic Podcast by Ayden Marietta and Justin George
n 2023, a simple direct message on X (formerly Twitter) sparked not just a conversation, but a lifelong bond. What began with shared experiences and mutual understanding quickly grew into a friendship for life—one that is unwavering, joyful, and deeply rooted in God’s purpose for us. Our friendship is rare and lifelong. We give each other unlimited grace and patience in a world that can feel fleeting, and we are committed to sticking together no matter what. At the same time, we make sure to enjoy the fun things in life — laughter, adventures, and moments that bring joy — because life is meant to be lived fully. Walking side by side, we have faced challenges associated with autism and overcome societal misconceptions, strengthening our resolve to live authentically and embrace our God-given potential. We love having autism and are thankful for it, knowing it doesn’t define us but is a part of who we are as individuals made in the likeness and image of God. Together, we encourage others to recognize and pursue their own purpose with intention and courage. In every season, we are sightseers of joy and adventure, intentionally exploring life’s joy, wonder, and the unexpected gifts in each moment.
We are endlessly grateful for the incredible support systems around us — family, friends, mentors, and our wider community — whose love and guidance make every step of this journey possible. Our hearts are full of appreciation for the ways they encourage, protect, and inspire us. In all that we do, we strive to approach life as curious sightseers, seeking joy, connection, and meaningful experiences all while forever keeping our Happy Hoosier path. Our passion, strength, and love for communication have shaped who we are and how we serve. In a world of noise, communication matters. Justin is a proud graduate with a Bachelor in Communication, and Ayden will graduate in the spring of 2026 with his Bachelor in Communication. This shared foundation allows us to connect meaningfully, speak truth with clarity, and use our voices to uplift others. Together, we have also cultivated communities both online and offline, striving to build spaces of peace, understanding, and truth, where ideas, encouragement, and support flow freely.
Next year in 2026, we are thrilled to take another exciting step: sharing our first apartment together as part of living together as lifelong supports and best friends. The thought of building a home side by side, filling it with laughter, inside jokes, encouragement, and quiet support, and simply being there for each other every day fills us with joy and anticipation. This apartment is more than just a space—it is a foundation for deepening our friendship, for study and reflection, for prayer, and for intentional living. Every corner will reflect our shared values: the celebrations of small and large victories, and the moments of quiet support when life feels heavy. As our journey continues, this first apartment naturally flows into our second apartment, a continuation of our shared life where routines, habits, and experiences deepen the foundation of our friendship, and continuing to reach our God-given potential together.
As sightseers of life’s joy, we will continue to explore the world with curiosity, delight in simple moments, and nurture spaces filled with laughter, learning, and community. Every stage of our journey reflects our commitment to walking on God’s timeline, living interdependently. This life is a testament to loyalty, faith, and purpose, showing that homes can be sacred spaces where relationships, growth, and love endure across generations. With a deep interest in history, a love for learning, and a curiosity for discovery, we remain active in our community and in the State of Indiana, where we are committed to building our lives together for years to come. As best special loving best friends for life, we are dedicated to sticking together because we know God has called us to this, and that is good enough for us. Our special relationship is both our anchor and our mission field. Through our podcast and our communication gifts, we strive to strengthen communities, share hope, and show the world the special closeness of lifelong friendship—its loyalty, joy, and the unshakable commitment to walk through every season of life side by side, ever seeking out new joys and adventures along the way. Our friendship is not just a bond, but a daily source of strength. We look out for one another in the little things—whether it’s encouragement during busy days, laughter in ordinary moments, or simply knowing we have a place to return to together. That steady presence, that constant lifting up of each other, is what makes our friendship for life so special. It is a reflection of God’s design for companionship, showing how two hearts can support, strengthen, and inspire one another in His love. Every day, we explore life together as sightseers of joy, curiosity, and wonder.
Beyond our shared pursuits, we carry a witty sense of humor that we believe a healthy society needs more of, bringing joy and lightheartedness into every room we walk into. We are grateful for our family, friends, and both our local and online communities, whose love and support inspire us to keep moving forward together. Through our podcast, we are passionate to advocate and cultivate an environment here in America where families, friendships, and futures flourish together.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
This verse reflects our lifelong friendship and commitment to lifting each other up.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord… Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.” – Colossians 3:23-24
This verse reflects our shared passion, dedication, and God-given gifts in communication, learning, and striving for excellence.
Other verses include God having a path together for us based on 1 and 2 Samuel (David and Johnathan), as well as John 15:13, Proverbs 17:17 and Proverbs 18:24.
